About i-Asrama CLQ Melaka
GreenRE & RBA Certified Hostel for Foreign Workers
i-Asrama operates under Irealty Management Sdn Bhd and manages Melaka's first purpose-built Centralized Labour Quarters (CLQ). Our flagship facility at Ayer Keroh Eco Park opened in June 2024, officiated by the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusof. Since opening, we have served 29 tenant companies and housed close to 2,000 foreign workers across two fully operational blocks.
Every block at i-Asrama runs under a dedicated on-site team that handles security, maintenance, welfare coordination, and compliance documentation. This gives employers confidence that their workers live in conditions that pass JTK inspections and RBA supply chain audits. We ensure that tenants are kept informed with regular monthly occupancy and welfare reports.
i-Asrama holds GreenRE Gold certification for sustainable design, passed RBA compliance reviews, and completed BOMBA fire drills and Basic Occupational First Aid training across all staff. Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK), the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), and REHDA Melaka have each visited the facility. These visits confirm i-Asrama’s position as a reference point for modern, compliant CLQ design in Malaysia.

i-Asrama Story
How We Became Melaka's First Purpose-Built CLQ
i-Asrama emerged from PDG’s initiative to address the shortage of compliant, purpose-built worker accommodations in Melaka’s industrial zones. The project launched on 10 June 2024, officiated by the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusof, marking Melaka’s first purpose-built CLQ and setting a new standard for worker housing in the state.
Since opening, i-Asrama earned GreenRE Gold certification, passed RBA compliance reviews, completed BOMBA fire drills, and delivered Basic Occupational First Aid training to all staff. The facility received visits from JTK, FMM, and REHDA Melaka. Each visit reflects recognition of i-Asrama as a working model for compliant, modern CLQ management in Malaysia.
