I-Asrama: Safe, Compliant, Comfortable CLQ Melaka for Workers' Accommodation
i-Asrama is Melaka’s first purpose-built Centralized Labour Quarters (CLQ), operating at Ayer Keroh Eco Park since June 2024. We house nearly 2,000 workers across two blocks, i-Asrama Harmoni and i-Asrama Damai, serving 29 tenant companies. Every unit meets ACT 446 standards, carries RBA certification, and runs under a full-time on-site management team. Each unit at i-Asrama follows an apartment-style layout with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, and living space, housing up to 12 workers per unit. Male and female residents occupy separate floors. On-site, residents access a canteen, mini-market, clinic, laundry area, recreational courts, and surau. A 24-hour security team, face recognition entry, and compound-wide CCTV protect every resident at all times.

i-Asrama Harmoni and i-Asrama Damai operate at Ayer Keroh Eco Park, within walking and cycling distance of major factories and worksites. Both blocks carry GreenRE Gold certification and comply fully with ACT 446 and JTK standards. Each block features apartment-style units, arranged across gender-separated floors, with a full-time warden and security team on duty 24/7. Employers with workers at either block gain a single point of contact for accommodation booking, welfare reporting, and compliance documentation. i-Asrama ensures ACT 446 and RBA records are properly maintained and readily available for tenant audits. New CLQ developments in Alor Gajah and Jasin are currently under construction, adhering to the same facility standards.
